Deep Diversion in the Amaranth
Pierson Field

A horizontal well in the Pierson Field, completed with a cemented liner, was suffering from near-wellbore scale buildup. A previous 2021 attempt at selective stimulation yielded only temporary results: fluids followed high-permeability thief zones, leaving the damaged sections untreated.

The STIMWRX Solution: Instead of costly mechanical isolation, STIMWRX deployed our DVG™ Advanced Visco-Elastic Diversion System via a rigless bullhead application. By temporarily blocking the high-perm zones, DVG forced the acid to penetrate the most damaged intervals deep within the reservoir.
