Today, as a specialized division of PureChem Services and Jacam Catalyst, we combine over a decade of proprietary technical reviews with the infrastructure of CES Energy Solutions Corp.

From Innovation to Infrastructure.

2013

The Genesis

STIMWRX was founded on a singular observation: the industry was treating reservoir stimulation as a commodity "pump and pray" service rather than a precise engineering discipline. A specialized team of engineers and chemists set out to change that by shifting the focus from "how much acid can we pump" to "how does the rock react." We pioneered a new standard for wellbore remediation built on data, not defaults.

2017

The Strategic Multiplier

STIMWRX technical success led to our acquisition by PureChem Services, integrating our specialty engineering with the resources of CES Energy Solutions Corp. (TSX: CEU). This allowed STIMWRX to scale our technology across North America, pairing our proprietary chemistries and technical reviews with a world-class manufacturing and laboratory network that no independent stimulation company could replicate.

Trent Kostick
Trent Kostick, P.Eng.
VP Stimulation Services, North America

Director and Co-Founder of STIMWRX with over 25 years of experience in oil and gas production chemicals and stimulations. Career began in 1998 at Baker Petrolite. Played a key role at Innovative Chemical Technologies prior to its acquisition by Lubrizol in 2014. Holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Regina and is a Professional Engineer with APEGA.

Over 25 years in the petroleum sector. Graduate of the SAIT Petroleum Engineering Technology program with extensive experience optimizing wells, managing production assets, and reserve portfolios across multinational and private producers. Joined STIMWRX in 2015, enhancing inflow performance across Western Canada and US plays including the Bakken, Permian, and Eagle Ford.
