After iterative lab and field testing in collaboration with operators, STIMWRX developed MULTI-CLN™. It is a proprietary mud acid replacement formulated to disperse and dissolve silica and HCl-soluble solids and scales - while providing integrated iron control, anti-sludge, and non-emulsifying performance in a single-stage application.

Its silica-dissolving component serves as a hydrofluoric acid (HF) replacement, offering substantially lower corrosivity than HF - enabling safer and more effective wellbore and near-wellbore cleanup without compromise on performance.

OMA Dispersion and Solids Breakdown

Facilitates the dispersion of Oil Mineral Aggregates (OMA) - the primary mechanism behind sludge formation - then aggressively breaks down the resulting sand and clay deposits to restore flow paths.

Enhanced Permeability and Deep Penetration

Water-wetting additives break down hydrocarbon barriers, allowing the chemistry to penetrate deep into damaged zones. Controlled reaction rate ensures maximum reservoir contact rather than near-wellbore reaction.

Integrated All-in-One Chemistry

HF Replacement - Lower Corrosivity

Turning an Uneconomical Asset into a High-Performer

Multi-lateral well on production since 2022. By 2024, significant and sustained production decline had made the asset uneconomical to operate. Multiple workovers were required, with bailer runs to manage persistent mud inflow from open-hole laterals to the heel.
